When the game first starts there is an option to select what language to play the game in (English, French & Spanish). It is very common for the wrong language to get selected. You just need to progress past the first bottle feeding to reach the menu where you can change the language back to English. Here's how:
Skip all of the text screens until you get to the scene with the crib. Try talking softly or lightly blowing into the microphone to get the baby's attention. Soon more text will appear (skip it by tapping on the screen) and soon you will be on the house map. Tap on the bottle icon. Now you need to shake the bottle up and down to mix the milk, move the bib to the baby’s neck, then use the bottle at an angle where the milk fills the bottle’s nipple to feed the baby (the game’s instruction booklet contains some tips to help get through the bottle feeding). Once this is finished it will take you back to the baby in the crib. Tap the house icon in the bottom left corner, use the “Options (French)” or “Opciones (Spanish)” button along the bottom of the house map screen, select the “Choix de la langue (French)” or “Ellección de idioma (Spanish)” option, then select the English option.
